Module 7 Unit 2 It could find the people. 【教学目标】1．能够听说读写单词和短语：fire, find, stand on my hands, ride a bike。能够听说认读单词 inside, special, firefighters.2．能够听说认读句子It could find the people. 能够听说句子The girl couldn’t walk then.The girl can walk now.【教学重难点】掌握can，can’t的一般过去式形式，并能在实际情景中进行运用。【教学设计】首先通过图片让学生掌握单词can，can’t的一般过去式形式，其次通过播放录音，提问的方式引发学生思考，再次通过对比，使学生理解can与could，now和then的区别和用法，最后通过总结及口语交际，加强学生的语言应用能力。【教学过程】一、教学导入1．教师出示一张Fifi 的图片。T: What can Fifi do?What can’t Fifi do?Ss: Fifi can… Fifi can’t…2．教师出示一张Fifi 一年前的图片。T: What could Fifi do then? What couldn’t Fifi do then?Help Ss learn “could, couldn’t”.结合图片引导学生理解could，couldn’t 是 can , can’t 的过去式。二、新课呈现1．学习Look，listen and say部分。（1）T：Did you go to the zoo last Sunday?S: Yes，we did.T：Do you see a special bird? It could speak.S：Yes. It’s the parrot.T：Yeah. Sam watched a TV show yesterday. What did he say? Let’s listen!（2）教师播放此部分的录音。带领学生学习find的过去式found，can的过去式could.2．学习Listen and read部分。（1）T：Some special dogs can help people do lot of things. Who need a special dog?Ss：The blind people need a special dog.The policemen…T: The firemen also need a special dog.教师出示消防员的照片，学习单词 fire, firemen.（2）教师出示课文第一幅插图，让学生观察并回答：T：What could the firefighters do? What couldn’t they do?Ss: The firemen could… They couldn’t…（3）T: The firemen had a special dog. What could it do?Listen to the tape and answer.（教师播放录音）Ss: The dog could find the people. 板书并学习句子。（4）学生们分组讨论下列问题：Where were the people?Were they safe?（5）学习单词 inside, special（6）再次播放一遍录音，学生认真听，并跟读。3．学习Read and write部分。（1）展示两张女孩儿的图片。T：Look at this photo, the girl is 8 years old now.Look at this photo, she was 1 year old then.The girl couldn’t walk then. The girl can walk now.（2）学习比较单词 then, now（3）T: What couldn’t she do then?（教师出示第二组图片）Ss: She couldn’t speak then.T: What can she do now?Ss: She can speak now.4．学习Listen and say部分。（1）Guessing game.Which dog is it?出示Fifi 和导盲犬的照片。找一个同学到前面来，老师出示其中一幅图，其他同学对这只小狗进行描述，帮助这个同学来猜。例如：S1: This dog can eat.S2: This dog can’t help people.S3: This dog can play balls.….It’s Fifi!（2）小组讨论，尽可能多的说出这两只小狗能做和不能做的事情，形成小语篇进行介绍。（3）播放此部分的歌曲录音，学生认真听。（4）教师领唱，学生跟唱。（5）全班同学齐唱。5．学习Ask and answer部分。（1）请同学们观察图片中的人物分别在做什么，并想想自己能做和不能做的事情。（2）教师讲解图片内容，如第一幅是swim游泳，第二幅是write写字，第三幅是read a book看书，第四幅是stand on my hands倒立，第五幅是ride a bike骑自行车。（3）请同学们使用句型I can swim. Can you? 在班上进行互相调查练习。6．学习Draw and say部分。（1）请同学们画出自己喜欢的动物的简笔画。（2）介绍自己所喜欢的动物。如My favorite animal is the dog. It can help people. It can swim. It can jump high…三、基础巩固引导学生总结本节课所学内容，强调can, can’t 和could, couldn’t 的区分。帮助学生感受动物对人的帮助，引导学生热爱动物，和动物做朋友。四、外延拓展拓展一则英语谚语：Failure is the mother of success. 失败是成功之母。五、练习作业1．听录音，大声朗读本课时课文。2．谈论一下你的照片，要用到could，couldn’t，now，then进行对比。I was…years old then.
