（六） ver, abve与n表示“在……上”的区别。ver——指没有接触面的正上方, 反义词是under。abve——指没有接触面的上方, 在高一些的位置, 反义词是belw。n——指有接触面的, 在……的表面上。The plane is abve the cluds.The bridge is ver the river.The cup is n the table.

表示"在……上"时，不是都用"n"，有时须用in。在墙上in the wall镶嵌在墙内，指窗户、门、钉子等。n the wall在墙的表面之上，指地图、画像等。在报纸上in the newspaper用于指报上的内容。n the newspaper用于指放在报纸上的东西，如眼镜等。
