Teaching stages

I. Warming-up

1.T: Hello boys and girls. Good morning!(师生问好)Today,we will talk about colours.

2.出示幻灯片( What colour is it?)

T: I have some colourful balloons. Can you tell me what colour is it and how to spell it?(出示幻灯片)

(The first one is red. How to spell red. R-E-D)

II. Presentation

展示气球幻灯片,学生读单词并复习拼写。

1. T: What colours do you like?(学生回答)
2. T: 接着最后一个同学说Me too, but My favourite colour is purple. Do you know my meaning? (学生回答)老师说出今天的课题并讲解。T: What is your favourite colour? (师生对话)

Ss: My favourite colour is       . (找几组同学回答)

3.T: Ok! Look at here and read after me.(出示幻灯片,重点句型,反复读,学生跟读)当你想询问别人最喜欢的颜色是什么？You should ask: what is your favourite colour？当别人问你你最喜欢的颜色是什么?你应该回答My favourite colour is       /         is my favourite colour. (把之前学习的单词运用到句子中)。

III. Practice

1. Activity. T: Now, I will give you 2 minutes to make up dialogues with your partner. Please use these sentences. 在你们做对话之前，我先找同学跟我给大家做一下示范。Ok? Begin! (Teacher walks around students to check their work and offer help as long as possible.请两至三组学生表演对话。)

2. Listen to the tape

(I)T: Now, open your book, turn to page 50. Let s study the text together. Before learning to the text, I have five questions(出示幻灯片)。

Listen carefully. (转课文,播音)学生回答问题(抢答方式“ Can you tell me?”)读、翻译、回答

(1)三个短语讲解。教师动作演示。(2)拍手读词,三遍。最后一遍边做动作边读。(3)跟唱两遍

3. Mix colours

Teacher: Just now, we talked about many kinds of colours. But today I only take eight colours with me. They are red, yellow, blue, white, green, pink, brown and black. (show students the pigments and encourage them to say them in English). We can try to mix any two of them and receive new colours. (学生拿出彩笔)

T: Did you have “red”?

Did you have “ yellow”?

Did you have “blue”?

Part3(出示幻灯片)

Give students 3 minutes to create new colours with the five colours. After the activity, invite some of them to express how to make green, orange, purple etc.

V. Homework

1. Ask your family members what their favourite colour are, and finish the chart.

2. Share the story with your family members.
