形容词(adjective)，简称adj，的主要词类中的一种。主要用来修饰名词，表示事物的特征。形容词用来修饰名词或代词，表示人或事物的性质、状态，和特征的程度好坏，与否。在句中作定语, 表语, 宾语，补语。
形容词在句中作定语, 表语, 宾语补足语。一、作定语She is a gd student, and she wrks hard.Our cuntry is a beautiful cuntry二、作表语This bike is expensive. I am srry, I'm busy nw.
三、作宾语补足语We keep ur classrm clean and tidy. The gd news made all f us happy.
形容词在句中的位置:1.形容词作定语一般放在被修饰的名词之前。a beautiful flwer2.形容词修饰smething, anything, nthing, everything等不定代词时,形容词放在其后。I have smething imprtant t tell yu.Is there anything interesting in the film？
3.用 and 或 r 连接起来的两个形容词作定语时一般把它们放在被修饰的名词后面。起进一步解释的作用。Everybdy, man and wman, ld and yung, shuld attend the meeting.Yu can take any bx away, big r small.
形容词的特殊用法：the+形容词表示一类人 We shuld try t help the pr.The ld must be lked after well.
多个形容词修饰名词时，其顺序为：限定词--数词--描绘词--(大小，长短，形状，新旧，颜色)--出处--材料性质，类别--名词a small rund tablea tall gray buildinga dirty ld brwn shirtan expensive Japanese sprts car
意思相同的形容词用法可能不同：sick与ill区别：sick和ill都表示“生病的”,但是，sick可以做定语、表语,而ill只能做表语。a sick man  the sickShe is ill / sick in bed.Lk that sick dg, it's mine.
