含有否定词nt,n,nthing,never等或表示部分否定的词hardly,seldm等的句子被称为否定句。不含否定词的句子就称为肯定句。Mr. Walker is an Englishman.He is nt an American.
肯定句变否定句的方法1.原句中含有be动词、助动词和情态动词时，在be动词、情态动词、助动词后直接加nt。 I am a teacher. → I am nt a teacher.  Li Lei can swim. → Li Lei can't swim. He will g t the z if it rains tmrrw.  →He wn't g t the z if it rains tmrrw. 
2.原句中没有be动词，助动词或情态动词时，要在行为动词前加助动词和nt，助动词需注意人称和时态，行为动词用原形。Mr Wang wrks in a factry.  →Mr Wang desn't wrk in a factry. Xia Lin visited ur friends last night.  →Xia Lin didn't visit ur friends last night. 
肯定句变否定句注意事项1.肯定句变否定句时，除将谓语变为否定式外，句中其他词语也可能随之改变，如将sme改为any, t和als改为either。There are sme birds in the tree. →There aren’t any birds in the tree. He likes the girl, t. →He desn’t like the girl, either.
2.不变谓语动词而变其他词语 肯定句中含有 bth, all时，变否定句时bth →neither；all→nne等。Bth f us are students. → Neither f us is a student.  All f them like bananas. → Nne f them like(s) bananas. 
3.肯定句中含有every-, sme- 的合成词，变否定句时常改为含有 n- 的合成词。Everything is ready. → Nthing is ready.  There is smething wrng with my bike.  → There is nthing wrng with my bike.
4.祈使句的肯定式变否定式一般情况下，在句首的动词前加 Dn't 。 Clse the dr. → Dn't clse the dr.以 Let开头的祈使句，在变否定句时常在其后加 nt；有时也可在其前加Dn't 。Let me try again.  → Let me nt try again.   → Dn't let me try again.
5.动词不定式变否定式时，常在不定式符号 t 前加 nt 。The teacher tells me t d it.→The teacher tells me nt t d it.My mther wants me t wash the dishes.→My mther wants me nt t wash the dishes.
句型转换My father asked me t finish the hmewrk first. (改为否定句)My father asked me ________ ________ finish the hmewrk first.
句型转换My father asked me t finish the hmewrk first. (改为否定句)My father asked me ________ ________ finish the hmewrk first.答案：nt t解析：对动词不定式进行否定，直接在动词不定式前加nt。故ask sb. nt t d sth.要求某人不要做某事。考点：肯定句和否定句
