掌握单词和短语:therapy, discver, teens, prmise, r, wrk, practise, stressed, suggest, wuld rather。
2.能力目标
通过听说练习,训练学生听说的技能,逐步掌握听力技巧;学会运用扫读的阅读技巧。
3.情感目标
通过听说练习,了解颜色疗法,学会用颜色与情绪的关系来解决身边的问题。
重点难点
重点:颜色疗法相关的词和短语;听懂关于颜色疗法的文章。
难点:阅读技巧——扫读。

Step 1Lead-in
Raise questins “What is the relatinship between clurs and mds?
Hw can clurs influence yu?” Talk abut the relatinship between clurs and mds.
Step 2 Presentatin
1. Intrduce clur therapy—A way t use clurs t change peple’s mds and imprve their life.
2. Intrduce Mrs Rainbw and her therapy centre. Present sme new wrds while intrducing her.
Step 3 Listen and practice
1. Shw A1. Read the advertisement and answer the questins.

(1)prmise动词,意为“答应,承诺”,后跟名词、动词不定式或that从句。

(2)r 连词,否则

2. She suggests different clthes t different peple.
她向不同的人建议不同的衣服。
suggest 动词,意为“建议”,后跟名词、动词-ing形式或宾语从句。
(1) suggest sth. t sb. 把……推荐给……

(2) suggest ding sth.建议做某事
I suggest climbing the hill this Sunday. 我建议这个周日爬山。
(3) suggest +that从句(多用虚拟语气)

3. I’d rather wear range. 我更喜欢穿橙色的。
wuld rather = ’d rather 意为“宁愿,更喜欢”, 表示“宁可做……而不愿
做……”,常用句型:wuldratherdsth. thandsth.。若than前后动词
相同,则可省略than后面的动词。
Iwuldratherhaveacupftea. 我宁愿喝杯茶。
Iwuldrathergtmrrwthantday. 我宁愿明天去,不愿今天去。

=The child prefers playing t ding his hmewrk. 那个孩子宁愿玩耍也不愿做作业。

1. Tell them what scanning is and when we can use this kind f reading skill.
Scanningmeans mving ur eyes quickly ver the text t lk fr specific infrmatin such as names r numbers. We d nt need t read every wrd. Instead, we lk fr the key infrmatin that will answer ur questins.
Scanning is ften used when we read:sme parts like “What’s n TV” in the newspaper; a bus / train timetable; a guidebk.
2. Read the passage and learn t use the way f scanning. Answer the questins and understand the passage.
