It had nine twers and many rms. Peple had lived in this frtress 2,000 years ag. Outside its walls, the crew had fund buried remains f nearly 40 campsites. They seemed t be camping areas fr traders.
Mre digging fund shards, r pieces f pttery frm the ancient empires f Rme, Greece, China, Egypt, and Syria. Diggers and scientists agreed that peple were n the site fr abut 5,000 years. Clapp and his team were excited as they cntinued t uncver mre pieces f the past that seemed t prve that it was the lst city f Ubar.
“We started with this hpeless myth and then fund seeds f truth,” said Clapp, “then finally fund the reality behind the myth.” But is this unearthed site really the nce-great Ubar? Experts aren’t ttally persuaded.

CADDBAC
1. are→is
3. agree→allw
4. frm→f
解析:be made f意为“由······制成(能看出原材料)”,而be made frm看不出原材料。
8. A
