教材分析
本课通过Li Yan在School TV介绍自己英语学习方式的情景,引出要学习的目标语言 How did you learn English? I learned English by doing things.通过师生之间的对话,自主感知、模仿、理解和体验。
学情分析
六年级下册,学生接触几年的英语,有了一定的基础,对知识点的把握相比较低年级的更强,但缺乏理性思维,逻辑思维不强。因此要多引导学生注意知识的积累和运用,经常接触、反复运用。

1、热身 / 复习 (Warming-up / Revision)
1)日常口语交流。
2)复习前几课学习的词汇和句型。
2、新课导入 (Presentation)
1)请学生带着问题,初读课文,封闭型问题的设计旨在获取基本信息。

Q2: Why were they very interested in English lessons?
Q3: Did the teacher usually let them do things by themselves?
2)请学生带着任务阅读,阅读过程中,全出全文出现的动词过去式。也可以把不会的词勾画出来。
3)再读文本,为深刻的理解而阅读,开放型问题的设计旨在激活学生的思维,培养学生的独立开放的思考能力和深刻感知一般过去时的语用意义。

3、趣味操练
1)教师可以将本科书出现的动词过去式和一些重点动词短语编成小歌谣,让学生反复说唱。
