Language pints
特别提醒使用该结构时要注意两点:① 前后两个句子的主语不同;② be 动词、助动词、情态动词在时态上要和前句的谓语动词保持一致,在数上要与本句主语保持一致。
区分“S +主语+ be 动词/助动词/情态动词.”意为“的确如此”,表示赞同前者的说法或观点,前后的主语指的是用一个人或物。
—露西喜欢深蓝色。—的确如此。 — Lucy likes dark blue. — S she des.
miss v. 未出席; 未出现后面出现动词时, 应该用动词的-ing形式。e.g. Get up early r yu will miss the early bus. She missed ging t the party n Saturday. miss作动词还有“想念”的意思。miss作名词意为“女士; 小姐”, 此时m必须大写, 常用于姓名或姓之前, 尤指未婚女子。如: Miss Brwn。
2. There wn’t be anybdy t wake yu up in the mrning. anybdy prn. 任何人 常用于否定句或疑问句中; 当用于肯定句中时, 相当于any persn, 意为“任何人”。 e.g. I will nt tell anybdy the secret. Is there anybdy in the ffice? Anybdy culd d it!
3. My clck ring s ludly that it will certainly wake me up. ring v. 鸣响; 发出铃声 e.g. The telephne is ringing. 电话铃响了。 ring作动词还有“打电话”的意思。 e.g. I’ll ring yu up as sn as they arrive. 他们一到我就给你打电话。
4. Yur train is abut t leave. be abut t d sth. 的意思是“就要/正要……”. e.g. We were just abut t leave when Jerry arrived. 杰里来的时候, 我们正准备走。 She lked as if she was abut t cry. 她看上去好像要哭了。
5. See yu in a cuple f weeks! cuple 作名词, 意为“一对; 两个”。它常用于固定短语a cuple f, 表示“两个”。 e.g. She has a cuple f friends at schl. 她在学校有两个朋友。

这两个名词均有“一对; 两个”之意。cuple 多指在一起或彼此有关系的两个人或两个同样的事物; pair 含义广泛, 可指人或物, 用于物时, 指两个互属的事物, 缺此或失彼都会失去使用价值, 或指由相对称的两部分构成的一件东西。e.g. I fund a cuple f scks in the bedrm but they dn’t make a pair.
a cuple f与a pair f的辨析:① a cuple f意为“两个人;两件事物;几个人;几件事物”,常指同类事物中的任意两个或几个,不一定是成对的或成双使用的。如: She has a cuple f friends at schl. 她在学校有两个朋友。 I have a cuple f ffers frm Hllywd. 我已经拿到了几个好莱坞的片约。② a pair f意为“一双/对/副/条/把……”,通常指成对的或成对使用的东西,以及在使用时彼此不能分开的两部分构成的东西。如一双鞋、一把剪刀和一条裤子。如: This pair f scks is a bit big fr me. 这双袜子对于我来说有点大。 Mther bught her a pair f tennis shes. 母亲给她买了一双网球鞋。
6. smebdy,anybdy,nbdy与everybdy的用法:①smebdy意为“某人;有人”,只表示人,作主语时跟单数动词,一般用在肯定句中。如: Smebdy is waiting utside. 有人在外面等。②anybdy意为“任何人”,只表示人,作主语时跟单数动词,一般用于否定句、疑问句或条件句中。如: Des anybdy else want t g? 还有别人要去吗? Yu may ask anybdy here fr help. 你可以请求这里的任何人帮忙。③nbdy意为“无人;没有人”,只表示人,常用在肯定句中,表示否定意义,相当于。如: There is nbdy here. 没有人在这里。④everybdy意为“每人,人人”,everybdy与everyne 同义,作主语时,谓语动词用单数。如: Everybdy is here tday except Jim. 今天除了吉姆之外,每个人都在这儿。

连读现象在英语考试听力中极为常见。连读即连在一起读,就是两个或多个分属不同单词的音素因为相邻或语速较快等原因而连在一起读出的现象。
如何处理连读音? 1. 多听是首要; 2. 学会模仿音频。
