根据第二段“The gesture ‘thumbs-up’ is cmmnly misunderstd. In tw can in fact be used instead f each ther.” 故选A。
根据第三段“T mst Eurpeans, it signals the number end with the thumb.”

根据第一段第一、二句“There are n right r wrng gestures, and nly cultural differences. Lack f cultural understanding will lead t disagreement amng peple frm different cultures.”
执行;完成 3.in fact事实上 4.end with 以……结束
    5.wrthless adj.
A security camera recrded a yung by riding his bicycle up t the hme f Hllie Mallet.
5.B 根据后文中she had seen the by a number f times running int her garage t play ball with her dg可知Mallet是在解释。
    7.A 根据前后文以及she lves the attentin!
In late May, Mallet psted a vide...
The by turned ut t be Jsh Breaux.
But she was glad her sn had...
故填that。
目击者;见证人;证人 4.in n time立刻;马上 5.cntrl v.
