My mum and dad bught a nice, big turkey a few days befre Thanksgiving. My mum was prud f herself as she gt it fr a gd price. The night befre Thanksgiving, Mum gt the turkey ut f the bridge. Early the next mrning, my sisiter and I helped her put sme butter and salt n turkey, and then mum put it in the ven. It lked like it wuld be dilicius. My sisiter and I were excited.
But sn, we nticed smething was wrng. The ven was nt heating up. Dad checked it clsely. Then he said in a lw vice,”It's brken!”
Dad had an idea, and we all agreed with his suggestin t rder pizza instead. After all, Thanksgiving is abut giving thanks and spending time with yur family. If we did nt have turkey, it was different but there was nthing awful abut it.
That evening, we shared a delicius pizza. We had a great time, talking, eating and playing games. Thansgiving withut turkey can still be fun!
