    The pht is f a 1,000-Persn-Lng-Table Banquet(千人长桌宴) in the Mia Stckade village(苗寨) f One Thusand Husehlds in Leishan, Guizhu. This feast has a traditin dating back ver 1,000 years and is usually held fr marriage celebratins and festivals. While traditinally it is a lcal family affair, in mdern times this feast has smetimes been held n natinal hlidays s that turists can take part and enjy the Mia culture.
    The fds are all Mia delicacies, and include lamb, prk, beef, chicken, freshwater fish, and tfu dishes. The Mia are ne f the largest ethnic minrity grups in China. Nearly half live in muntain villages in Guizhu. They are famus fr their traditinal cstumes, which include large silver headdresses fr the wmen.

    There are at least eight different kinds f Chinese cuisine: Shandn (fresh and salty), Sichuan (ht frm chillies and frm Sichuan peppercrns), Jiangsu (sft texture, a little sweet), Fujian (umami taste, light), Zhejiang (fresh flavurs, sft texture), Hunan (dry nt), and Anhui (fresh herbs, ily clurful). In additin, there are numerus cking styles that are assciated with ethnic minrities.
