Fxes have becme a part f life in Britain’s urban areas. They are striking creatures but they are als dangerus. Three years ag, twin baby girls Isabella and Lla Kupparis were left with arm and face injuries after they were attacked by a fx while they were sleeping at their hme. Last week, a fur-week-ld baby by, Denny Dlan, was bitten by a fx which entered his hme. After gaining access t the hme thrugh the frnt dr, the fx pulled the baby dwn frm the sfa and tried t drag him utside, biting him and almst severing(割断)his finger.

On the ne hand, peple wh lve fxes treat these wild animals like pets, leaving fd ut fr fxes, feeding them frm their hands, and even inviting fxes int their hme. The result is that the fx is mre brazen and less inclined t avid us. It is thse peple wh feed fxes that cause fxes t lse their fear f humans. Hwever, as lng as they have a healthy fear f humans, they wn’t bther humans.
On the ther hand, fxes have mved int cities fr lack f resurces in rural areas. We take away their natural habitat t build mre huses and factries. Fxes have n chice but t live and search fr fd in the city. If they live in the frest, n fx attack will happen.

We have t remember that they are instinctive killers, efficient and silent with nly ne purpse, kill t eat. We must certainly nt intervene(干涉) them, even when they lk starved. C. Because n huses are built fr them in the frest.
    D. Because their habitats are ccupied by ther animals.
    10. We can learn frm the passage that the authr____ .
    A. is very cruel t fxesB. is a wild animal lver

    11. What is the main idea f the passage?

    B. Subjects were nt actively invlved in experiments.
    C. Subjects were ignrant f experiments indeed.
