Lake Baikal in Southern Siberia is the largest, deepest freshwater lake in the world. Every winter, the lake freezes(冻结). 80-year-old Lyubov used her skates(冰鞋) she’s worn since the 1940s and glides(滑行) across the ice wherever she needs to go.

If you haven’t heard of the new Japanese anime (动漫) Ranking of Kings, it’s time to get your act together.
As its name suggests, the story is set in a world where the kings of different kingdoms are ranked (排名). The ranking is based on(以……为根据) not only how rich and powerful their kingdoms are, but also how strong the kings are as fighters(战士).
Thus Bojji, a prince, makes a poor fit for a king, as he is small, weak and unable to hear or speak. However, the kindly young man does have something kingly about him, even if only a few around him can see it. Bojji meets different people in his life.
