一、教学内容分析
本模块以“A Lessn in a Lab”为话题,旨在通过模块教学,使学生了解一些基本的科学实验知识,学会怎样写实验报告,并掌握一些相关的词汇与短语,激发学生对科学的兴趣。此外还要求学生学会读一些大的整数、分数及小数。从文化的角度来看,鼓励学生了解国外有关科学教学的情况,以扩大学生的知识面,从而激发他们的学习兴趣。
二、教学目标

Step Ⅰ Warming-up
First, write dwn the wrds n the black-bard, and then teach them the meaning f each wrd by questining.
学生跟读,引导学生进入本课话题。
The purpse f this part is t let the students knw and get familiar with the new wrds in INTRODUCTION: expand, cntract, mixture, substance, xygen and electricity.
Step Ⅱ Vcabulary
Ask the students t read the sentences in Activity 1 n page 41, and then pick ut the crrect nes. At the same time ask them t pay attentin t the new wrds. At last check the answers t Activity 1 with the whle class.
学生讨论并完成问题。

Step Ⅲ Reading (Passage A)
There are three activities in this part: Activity 1: find the crrect rder t describe the stages f a scientific experiment; Activity 2, find the best title fr the passage; Activity 3, answer sme questins abut the passage.
学生阅读课文并回答相关问题。
初步让学生了解文章的大体内容。
Step Ⅳ Reading (Passage B)
In this part, the students will read the passage and then fill in the table belw the passage.
学生完成练习并核对答案。
该环节是学生对文章细节性的理解。
Step Ⅴ Language Pints
Ask the students t translate the fllwing sentences, and get familiar with the sentence structures.
学生讨论并完成口头表达任务。
