1. 教师带领学生看课本上中国四道菜肴的图片并提出问题，引导学生思考并回答菜肴的名称，原料，做法和口感。

           What are these dishes?

           What do they contain? How are they made?

           How do you describe their taste and texture exactly?

2. 学生将四道菜肴的图片与它们的英文名称配对。

           Match the dishes below to their English names.

3. 教师带领学生头脑风暴，列举中国八大菜系。

           How many kinds of major cuisines are there in China?  

4. 学生看菜单，判断菜单中的菜肴属于哪个菜系，并回答问题。

           Look at the menu and answer the following questions.

           What kind of cuisine do the dishes in the menu belong to? And what kind of restaurant is it?

           Which dishes would you recommend to a foreigner? Why?

1. 学生第一遍听对话并回答三个问题。

           How many people are there in the conversation?

           What is their relationship?

           What is the conversation mainly about?

2. 学生第二遍听对话，勾选对话中点的菜肴。

           Listen again and tick the dishes that they order in the menu.

3. 学生第三遍听对话，填写两个表格。

           Listen again and fill in the table.

4. 学生最后一次听对话，准备以婷婷的视角介绍此次与外国友人一起点餐的经历。

           Listen again and prepare for an oral introduction of your experience.

Post-listening

1. 教师引导学生头脑风暴带外国友人去什么饭店以及可能用到的推荐菜馆，介绍菜肴以及付钱的相关表达。

           What restaurants would you like to take your foreign friends to？

           What expressions can be used for recommending or introducing a restaurant or a dish, ordering food and paying the bill?

2. 教师创设情境，学生角色扮演外国友人，中国游客以及服务员，编写一段如何与外国友人一起点餐的对话。

           In groups of three, take turns role-playing taking your foreign guest to the restaurant you have chosen. One of you should act as the foreign guest, one as the Chinese host, and one as the waiter or waitress.

           1. 学生写一篇演讲稿，介绍一道自己最喜爱的中国美食，需要包括美食名称，原料，做法，口感以及为何中国人喜欢这道菜肴等信息，不超过80词。

           Make a short speech to introduce one of your favorite Chinese dishes to your foreign friends. You shall include the name, the taste, the texture, what it is made of, how it is made and why certain Chinese people prefer this dish. Your speech should be no more than 80 words
