Step 1 : warming up and lead-in:
Good morning boys and girls , nice to see you again , and now let’s begin our class .So here is a question for all of you , do you remember what the four seasons are in one year? Ok tell me together, winter 、summer、spring and autumn ok ,so now boy and girls I will sing a song for all of you and you should listen carefully ,later please tell me the topic of the song , ok ,what is the topic of this song ,Lisa please ,ok is about the four season ,sit down please , yes but do you remember the last lesson boys and girls? What is your favorite season? Ok yes, what your favorite season .
Step 2 presentation :
And today will learn about it ,unit 5 what your favorite season? Ok so boys and girls ,I like spring ,so do you know why , can you guess? So you think I can play a lot of sports , so, actually, boys and girls I like spring . so look here , I like spring because I can plant the trees .Ok , so now read after me “plant trees” .
And now ,summer is coming ,who like summer ? Yes Jack , yes ok ,why you can eat ice-cream ,ok, sit down please .In summer ,there will be a sun in the sky ,look, ok so ,how about the whether , yes, is very hot , right?so now look at the screen , in this picture ,what is the boy doing ,yes he is swimming right? So in summer we can swimming , ok ,so read after me “ swim ,swim ”.
Ok and now ,when autumn comes ,what can we do in autumn? We can enjoy the gold and red leaves ,look here ,so what this ,yes ,it is a kite ,so in autumn ,we can fly kites , read after me “fly kites “, now ,the winter is coming ,there should be heavy snow in the winter , what can we do ,yes ,we can play snow ball and ,look what is he ,yes , snowman ,so in winter , we can make a snowman , so read after me “ make a snowman ,make a snowman ”.
Ok so now let’s read all this words again “plant trees , fly kites ,swim , make a snowman ”.
Step 3 practice : so now boy and girls let’s listen to the tape ok?And find out what is the favorite season for Tom , got it ,ok now ,start ,ok stop here , so who can tell me what the favorite season for Tom, Lucy please , yes he like winter ,so can you tell me why , he can make snowman ,
