    教学目标:

    (一)知识目标

    1. 学生能听懂,会说,会读单词: hungry thirsty, happy, tired, ill, water, dear

    2. 学生能听懂、会说、会读句子: What’s the matter?及其回答I’m...

    3. 学生能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语: Come and have... Are you …?

    Here you are./ I want to …/ Good night.

    (二)能力目标

    1. 学生能整体理解故事,把握故事的情感主线;

    2. 学生能有感情朗读并表演故事

    3. 通过学习,学生初步掌握What’s the matter? Are you…? I’m... I want to 用以关心他人,表达自己的身体状况等

    (三)思维品质

      学生能大胆预测图片内容,了解人物的心情变化,并运用所学的语言开展预测,

    培养思维的灵活性和开放性。

    情感目标:

    1. 培养学生建立良好的人际交往关系

    2.培养学生关心他人的习惯。

     

    教学重、难点:

    重点:

    1. 在整体理解对话的基础上把握谈话中心,理解相关词汇和语言的功能;

    2. 能听懂会说会用句型:What’s the matter? I’m...Are you…? 关心帮助他人;

    3. 能借助所学内容开展真实交际。

    难点:

    1. 词汇:thirsty, tired, ill, 的读音及拼写;
    2. 交际用语:Can I ? I want to连读,失爆。

     

    教学准备:

    1. 教师准备:PPT,板书,刘涛及父母头饰,一杯水;

    2. 学生准备:听Story time 录音

     

    教学步骤:

    Step 1 Warming up

    1. Enjoy a song: How are you?
    2. Say and act :  hungry  tired  happy  cold  sad  thirsty
    3. Talk

    T: How are you?  Ss: I’m …

    [设计意图] 通过和学生日常对话自然而然地进入话题,同时提取学生的关于工作这一话题已有的知识经验, 为故事的学习做铺垫。

     

    Step 2 While-reading

    1. Look and say:

    Give a beginning to the story: Liu Tao’s day

    It’s seven o’clock. Liu Tao gets up.

    It’s eight o’clock. Liu Tao goes to school.

    He has 6 lessons in the day.

    After school he plays basketball.

    It’s five o’clock. He goes home. Look at him. How is he?

    1. 出示多个心情图片,引导学生开展预测:

    happy    hungry    ill

    sad      cold       thirsty     tired

    1. 整体感知

    (1)   Watch the cartoon then find: What feelings are mentioned in the story?

     

    happy    hungry    ill

     

    sad      cold       thirsty     tired

     

    (2)   Teach the new words: hungry, ill, thirsty, tired

    (3)   Read again and find Liu Tao’s feelings.

    First  hungry    thirsty

     

     

    Then  ill       tired

     

    [设计意图] 借助学生已有的知识经验和图片提示对刘涛的心情做预测,对本课的重点词汇做进一步的认知。在观看卡通后确定故事中刘涛的真实感受锁定词汇后开展教学,并板书梳理文本信息。

     

    1. 细节阅读

    1)图一,二

    a. 看图预测

    T: Boys and girls, we know Liu Tao is thirsty and tired. How do their Dad and Mum care about him? Lets go into todays story. Look. Liu Tao’s father thinks he must be hungry. He takes out a pie and says:

      S1: Would you like a pie?

      S2: Have a pie, please.

      S3: Here’s a pie for you.

      S4: This pie is for you.

    b. Listen to the tape.

      Teach: Come and have a pie, Taotao.

      引导学生模仿爸爸和蔼的语气:To be kind.

    c. 预测Liu Tao的回答,听音验证:Thanks, Dad, but I’m not hungry. I’m thirsty.

    d. 学生展示自己的话——听录音,跟读

    1. Practise by Liu Tao and his father.
    2. 同法学习Pic 2,重点学习、操练并表演。

    Pic 2:  (1) Id like some water.                (1)  Heres some water for you.

          (2) Can I drink some water?             (2) Drink some water, please.

          (3) I would like to drink some water.     

    ----听音练习,并操练:Can I drink some …juice?

    教师引导:When you are thirsty, water is the best choice.

    2)图三,四

    a. Picture 3 局部作为故事过度

    T: After drinking water, does Liu Tao feel better?

       Ss: No. He’s not.

       T: Look at his mother. She’s very worried. What does she say? Listen.

    b. teach: What’s the matter? Are you ill

      SummaryWhen you see somebody is not well, we can say: What’s the matter?

                If you not sure, you can say: Are you…?

    c. teach: I want to… 指导want to失爆

      Ss: I want to take a nap/have a rest/take a bath/…

    d. Look and say: Good night,… Good night…

    5. Practise reading

    (1) Read after the tape.

    (2) Read by themselves.

    (3) Dub.

    [设计意图] 通过对图片人物情绪的解读和语言的预测,培养学生运用旧知大胆想象的意识,使思维发展跟语言交流相结合。

     

    Step 3 Post reading

    1. Act the story

    2. Summary: Retell the story.

    It’s Friday evening.  It’s time for dinner.

    Dad wants Liu Tao to have a pie.      But Liu Tao is not h__ngr__.

    He would like some water.

    At night, Liu Tao is not fine. But he is not _ll. He is very t___d.

    He wants to go to bed. So he says good night to his Mum and Dad.

    Ss: Read and fill in the blanks.

    3. Consolidation

    (1) 续编对话并表演。

    T: The next day, Liu Tao gets up. What’s the matter with him now ?

    出示思维导图 Oh, maybe he is ill. He can’t go to school. He can have a rest at home. He can have some water. Can you guess whats the matter with Liu Tao now?

    Ss: Maybe hes happy\ hungry\ thirsty\ tired

    T: Boys and girls, now Im Mum, who wants to be Liu Tao? Let’s imagine whats the matter with Liu Tao now?  Who wants to make a dialogue with me ?

    T & S : Make a dialogue.

    Ss: Work in pairs then act out the dialogue.

    (2) 情感升华

    T: Liu Tao’s parents care him very much. I think your parents care you, too. When your parents need help, what will you say to them?

    S1: Sit down, please.

    S2: Here’s some cake for you.

    S3: Would you like some bread?

    [设计意图] 读后环节通过三个层次逐步递进式的活动,将教材内容逐步向生活实际进行链接,从知识理解逐步走向内化和运用。

     

    Step 4 Homework

    1.      Read the story and try to recite it.
    2.      Show your love to your parents on Mothers’ Day.
    3. Make up a new story. Father/Mother is Can you care about them?
