    Adverbial clauses f time with the cnjunctin when由连词when引导的时间状语从句复合句中,担任状语成分的从句称为状语从句。用表示时间的连词连接一个句子作状语,这样的主从复合句就是时间状语从句。在时间状从说明主句动作发生或进行的时间。引导的时间状从的主从复合句中,动作发生在先的用过去完成时,在后的用过去时。对所描述的事件予以强调,意为“这时;突然”。

    We can use the cnjunctin when t frm an adverbial clause f time. It links tw clauses int ne sentence.

    We can put an adverbial clause f time at the beginning r the end f a sentence.
    Adverbial clause f time
    When we arrived, the sky went dark.
    Main clause
    The sky went dark when we arrived.
    Match the clauses in clumn A with thse in clumn B t make cmplete sentences with when. Then rewrite each sentence with the adverbial clause at the beginning.
