These days, mst peple in Britain and the US d nt wear frmal (正式的) clthes. But smetimes it is imprtant t wear the right thing. Many British peple dn't think abut clthes very much. When they g ut t enjy themselves, they can wear almst(几乎) anything. At theatres, cinemas and cncerts (音乐会) yu can put n anything yu like: frm beautiful suits and dresses t jeans and sweaters. In many ways, Americans are less frmal than British peple, but they are mre careful with their clthes. At hme, r n hliday, mst Americans wear infrmal (非正式的) r sprts clthes. But when they g ut in the evening, they like t lk nice. In gd htels and restaurants, men have t wear jackets and ties, and wmen have t wear pretty clthes.
