She re-entered the plitical wrld in 2001, becming Gerge W. Bush’s Natinal Security Advisr. Rice attracted internatinal attentin in this psitin and has been called ne f the mst pwerful natinal security advisrs in American histry. She held this psitin until 2005, when appinted Secretary f State.
