    Pam Bales planned a six-hur hike thrugh New Hampshire^ Munt. On the dashbard (汽车仪表板) was a detailed plan ensuring she culd return befre the arrival f sme frecasted bad weather. Different frm frmer hike, thugh, this time, she had packed fr almst every accident and intended t walk alne.

    Bales felt excited as she walked up int snwy paths. She was wearing a fleece tank tp (绒衣)and hiking pants, and n glves r hat because the air was mild. Thirty minutes later, she climbed int clder air and deeper snws. She nw was in a quarter-zip fleece tp and glves. At 10 a.m.? the weather was shwing its teeth. Nw she felt genuinely alarmed. She was sure the hiker lst his way in the lw visibility. If Bales cntinued t fllw the tracks, she'd add risk and time t her return. But she culdn't let this g. She turned t the left and called ut, “Hell!" Nthing.
    Bales fllwed the tracks, runded a slight cmer and saw a man sitting mtinless. He wre tennis sneakers, shrts, a light jacket and fingerless glves. His skin was pale and he had a glazed (呆滞的)lk n his face. uOh5 hell/5 Bales apprached and said, "What's yur name?” The man didn't react. Obviusly, nthing was cnnecting fr him and he was in really big truble.
