A new kind f sea spnge(海绵) fund in Nrflk, England, has been named by a nine year ld girl after a cmpetitin fr lcal schls.
The unique purple spnge, which had never been seen in ther parts f the wrld, was first discvered by divers(潜水员) ff the nrth Nrflk cast. Althugh fund in 2011, it had been withut a name fr almst ten years. Then, the Marine Cnservatin Sciety asked lcal schlchildren t cme up with suggestins.

Sylvie said she came up with the name because “the spnge is purple and it lks like a dumpling”. “Parpal dumplin” is “purple dumpling” spken in a Nrflk accent(口音).
