一、结构:“如此……以至于……”,that引导结果状语从句.
adj./adv +that clause1. s + adj.+ a(n)+可数名词单数+that-clause many/much/few/little(少)+名词+that-clause
a(n)+adj.+ 可数名词单数+ that-clause2.such + adj.+不可数名词+that-clause adj.+可数名词的复数+that-clause

1、看冠词的位置:①冠词在形容词之前,选such. (such +a(n)+adj.+可数名词单数+that-clause②冠词在形容词之后,选s. (s+ adj.+ a(n)+可数名词单数+that-clauseHe hld such a heavy stick that thers think he wants t beat thersHe hld s heavy a stick that thers think he wants t beat thers
2、such后也可马上出现形容词(such +adj.+不可数名词+that-clause或 such+ adj.+可数名词的复数+that-clause)。因而不要后面出现了形容词就马上选s,还要看这个形容词是否修饰名词。①若修饰名词(不可数名词或可数名词复数),选such。②若不修饰名词,选s。He has made such great prgress that the teachers are pleased with him.(2013·四川高考·完形填空)But she is s strng that she never lets anyne put her dwn.
3、名词前只要有many/much/few/little(少)修饰时,只能选s。 He had s many falls that he was black and blue all verThere were s many peple in the street watching the fire that firefighters culd nt get clse t the building.
4、注意little这个词的含义:①表示 “少”时,用s。 ②表示“小”时,用such。He had s little educatin that he was unfit fr this jb.Why did yu ask such little(小) bys t d it?
在或句型中,当s或such以及它们所修饰的部分位于句首时,主句用部分倒装。(主倒从不倒) S little mney d I have that I cannt affrd t buy the huse. S angry did he becme that he culdn’t speak. Such a bad cld did he catch that he cughed day ad night. Such a gd ne was his plan that we all agree t accept it
such---that引导的状语从句 与such----as引导的定语从句的区别
1、从句中不缺成分,是状语从句。2、从句中缺成分(主、宾、表),是定语从句。 His plan was such a gd ne that we all agree t accept it. (状语从句) His plan was such a gd ne as we all agree t accept. (定语从句) We have fund such materials as are used in the factry.(定语从句)。 It is such an interesting bk that all students like t read it. (状语从句)。
s that(不分开)的用法:
①s that 表目的=in rder that,从句中常用may, might, can, culd , will , wuld , shall,be able t等情态动词。②s that 表结果,从句一般不用情态动词,前面一般用逗号与主句隔开,常用一般过去时。
We left early s that/in rder that we culd catch the first bus. She left early s that/in rder that (以便)she culd catch the train. He raised his vice s that everybdy culd hear him. She left early s that (所以)she caught the train. He gt up late, s that he didn’t get t wrk n time. His bike was brken, s that he had t walk hme.
