Step 1 Lead –in Translate the following sentence into Chinese. 1.Huoshenshan Hospital was built two months ago. 2.Makeshift hospitals were closed last month. 3.Most COVID-19 cases in China are cured now. 4.More doctors and medical supplies are sent abroad. 5.More money is needed to carry on with the work. Step 2 Presentation 1. 被动语态和主动语态的基本概念 2. 被动语态的基本构成 3. 被动语态的基本用法 1) 动作的执行者是泛指或者不言自明时。 2) 在不知道动作的执行者是谁时。 3) 需要强调动作的承受者时。 4) 出于委婉或礼貌而避谈动作的执行者时。 5) 在被动语态的句子中, 如果我们需要指出动作的执行者, 可以由by引出。 注意:有些动词常用于被动语态。如: He was born in Nanjing. 他生于南京。 The mobile phone was made in China. 这部手机是中国制造的。 4.Do some exercises 5.Practise 6. Finish Exercises A-B on page 99-100, check the answers with the whole class. 7. Complete the conversation 8. Fill in the blanks Step3 Production Look and say T: UNICEF and Oxfam have done a lot for the people in need. Work in groups of four and choose one organization to describe its activities. Remember to use the passive voice. I’ll choose some groups to report to the class. Step 4 Homework 1. Review the contents of this lesson. 2. Finish the exercises in the workbook. 3. Preview the next lesson.
