I am s hnred t share my teaching ideas here. My tpic tday is taken frm Lessn 24: Hw was yur weekend? I’ve decided t say the lessn frm these steps.

Step1 Lead-in
After greeting friendly the whle class in everyday English, we can cme t the first step: lead-in.
First f all , I divide all the students int 5 grups, let them have a pk. Then we sing and dance tgether an English sng called “what d yu like t d”. It makes us relaxed and clsed t ur tday`s tpic “hw was yur weekend?” This time I ask the students t guess what I like t d in my free time. Encurage mst f the students t describe their wn weekends by themselves in English Accrding t my answers. It can help students t review the past knwledge , at the same time, tell them clearly ur next tasks in this class.
Step2: Free talk
Shw a list f pictures abut myself and my children n the blackbard. Ask students t talk abut the activities.
T: Bys and girls , what ther kinds f interesting wrk can we students d ? I’ll shw yu sme pictures. Find yur partner and make new cnversatins each ther.
Help the students t master the grammar. Put up sme grammar n the blackbard. The purpse f my design is t attract students` attentin t this class and use crrect tense t make sentences. In fact, students in my class did shw great interest in this part and remembered the wrds in a very shrt time. The smile n their faces prved it.
Step3: learn new lessn
Ask the students t pen their bks and turn t page 24 .
1. Fast reading and knw the general ideas abut this e-mail ,find these three questins` answers and write them n the paper sheet ,at last check the answers tgether.
2. careful reading with 5questins
I advise tw students every grup t discuss the imprtance and difficulties abut these questins. underline r circle sme key sentences that yu dn`t understand .At the same time, prnunciatin is als very imprtant
3.We all check these questins tgether carefully and make sme special examples abut difficult phrases and grammar fr the students` understanding well.
4 .Listening and reading
Listen t the tape quietly and read ludly after this .After practicing a while , tw students and I read this e-mail emtinally in frnt f the classrm. Let students feel the charming f English and lve deeply t learn well language. Because as we knw the interest is the best teacher.
The purpse f my design is t give students a whle understanding abut this e-mail, make sure everyne can read it fluently. Make a preparatin fr retelling it well.
Step4: retell
I tell this email in my wn wrds t all the students after studying this lessn .The best way we study---share ur knwledge and feelings t thers in time. Then encurage them t retell tday` English t their parents and gd friends by this mind—map n the blackbard. I want t set up a psitive value fr them. Because it is a virtue and healthy fr us t share ur happiness and sadness by using new sentences and grammar as mre as pssible.
Step5:structures f an e-mail r a pstcard
After learning smething abut this email, Discuss what an email is ? hw t write a cmplete e-mail crrectly . (a gd head , a gd bdy, a wnderful tail). I read an e-mail I write t my friend Danny fr all students. This can help students t imprve their mastering f the difficulty pints.
Step7: play a game
Everyne has different interesting things t d after classes. This weekend is cming in tw days .What are yu ging t d ? Wh are yu ging t g? Where are yu ging t Nw every grup can chse ne theme frm the blackbard and discuss with the ther 5 students in the same grup. We are ging t lk fr the best tw grups t shw themselves fr us .these all students can get a gift. Gd Luck
The purpse f my design is t strengthen the target language and deepen the essence f Chinese students` spken English and make study enjyable.

1: listen t a freign student`s weekend plans and their real activities by sme different kinds f beautiful pictures.
2: let students clse bks and think it ver what we have learnt in this lessn. D they have any difficulties and questins? They can hands up if they have.
