    1.意义:表示过去某一时间或动作以前已经发生或完成了的动作。它表示动作发生的时间是“过去的过去”。表示发生在过去的动作对过去的某一点造成的某种影响或结果,用来指定在另一个过去动作之前就已经完成了的一个事件。
    2. 过去完成时 构成:助动词had+动词的过去分词 否定式:had nt+动词的过去分词 had nt的缩写形式:hadn’t
    3. 过去完成时的用法:
    (1)表示一动作或状态在过去某一时间或动作之前已经完成,即发生在“过去的过去”。这个过去的时间可以用by, befre等介词短语或者一个时间状语从句来表示。
    例:我醒来时,雨已经停了。 When I wke up, it had stpped raining.
    (2)表示某一动作或状态在过去某时之前已经开始,一直延续到这一过去的时间。常用表延续的时间状语如: by the end f+过去的时间点,by the time +从句等。
    例:到去年年底,她已经在这家工厂工作20年了。 By the end f last year, she had wrked in the factry fr twenty years.
    4. 过去完成时的判断依据:
    4. 由时间状语来判定 ① by+过去的时间点 例:到昨天9点钟时,她已经读完了这本书。 She had finished reading the bk by 9 ’clck yesterday.
    ② by the end f+过去的时间点 例:到上个月月底,我们已经完成了所有工作。 We had cmpleted all the wrk by the end f last mnth.
    ① 含有宾语从句的复合句中:当主句为一般过 去时,且从句的动作先于主句的动作发生时, 从句要用过去完成时。如在tld,said,knew, heard,thught等动词后的宾语从句中。句中。 例:她说她以前已看过这部电影了。 She said that she had seen the film befre.
    5. 由“过去的过去”来判定
    ② 含有状语从句的复合句中,主、从句的动作发生有先后关系,动作在前的要用过去完成时,动作在后的要用一般过去时。例: 我到达车站时,火车已经离开了。 When I gt t the statin, the train had already left.
    ③表示意向的动词,如hpe,wish,expect, think,intend,mean,suppse等,用过去 完成时表示“原本……,但未能……”。 例:我们本希望你能来,但你没来。 We had hped that yu wuld cme,but yu didn’t.

    2. When I gt hme, I realized I had left my keys in the backpack.当我到家的时候,我意识到我把钥匙忘在背包里了。leave sth. in (at, n) smewhere “把某物忘在某处(地)”。e.g. He left his umbrella n the train. 他把雨伞忘在火车上了。
    3. My alarm clck didn't g ff. 我的闹钟没有响。g ff为动词短语,意为“(闹钟)响”,也可以表示“(质量)变坏、恶化;(灯)熄灭;(水、电)断掉”。e.g. The alarm clck has gne ff. Why desn't my brther get up?闹铃响过了,为什么我弟弟还没有起床?

    be abut t d sth.意为“刚要做某事,即将做某事”,表示即将发生的动作,在时间上指最近的将来。be abut t d sth.通常不与具体的时间状语连用,而常与when引导的时间状语从句连用。
    eg:I am abut t g shpping this weekend.我这个周末打算去购物。The new schl year is abut t begin.新学年开学在即。I was abut t g t schl when it began t rain. 我正打算去学校,突然开始下雨了。

    keep ding sth. 强调动作的连续不断,不和表示瞬间动作的动词连用,意思是“一直……”。

    be full f 意为“充满;满是……”。其中 full为形容词,意为“满的”。eg:瓶子里装满了沙子。 The bttle is full f sand.
    【辨析】be full f与be filled with
    “充满;装满”,属主系表结构,侧重于状态。
    The rm is full f peple.
    “充满;装满”,是fill…with的被动语态。
    The bttle is filled with sand.
    10.【辨析】abve, ver 与 n
    三者均可作介词,意为“在……上面”,其区别如下:
    表示地理、空间位置,无“垂直”之意,可指“高于……”,但不接触另一物。
    指一物体在另一物体的垂直上方,表示“在……正上方”,也不接触另一物。
    表示“在……上面”,常与另一物接触。
    11.【辨析】alive, live, living与lively
    意为“活着;有生气的”,侧重生与死之间的界限,作表语或后置定语。
    意为“活生生的;有生命的” ,只作前置定语。
    意为“活着的”,强调尚在人间,健在,作表语或定语。
    “活泼的;活跃的;生气勃勃的”,作表语或定语。

    stay up ding sth. 意为“熬夜做某事”。
    例:她熬夜看书,直到午夜。 She stayed up reading until midnight.
