一.教学目标
1.能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解对话大意,能够按照正确的语音、语调及意群朗读对话,并能进行角色表演。
2.能够在情景中运用句型 What are they doing? They’re … 询问并回答某些人是否正在做某事。
3.能够在语境中理解生词及词组,eating lunch, bamboo 和its的意思,并能够正确发音。
4.能够组词成句,描述人们正在做的事情。
二.教学重难点
重点:能够用正确的语音、语调、意群朗读对话,并能分角色朗读。
难点:能够在情景中运用现在进行时进行交流句型。
三.教学方法:任务型教学法
四.教具:单词卡片,教师准备与教材内容相关的录音、图片等媒体素材。
五.教学步骤
Step 1: Warm up
1) Greeting T: Hello, boys and girls, how are you?
2) Let’s sing
T: Do you like English songs?----Yes.
What about this song?----Animals.
What are they doing?----They’re eating, jumping......
3) Let’s chant
Eating, eating, I am eating.
......
Step2: Lead-in
1) Guess ( an animal )----Pandas
2) Look at the picture
Q1: Who are they?
Q2: What animals can you see?
Q3: How many pandas?
Q4: What are they doing?
3) Listen and check. ( Watch the video)
Step3: Presentation (let’s talk)
1) T shows a picture
Q1: How many kinds of animal are there?----Three.
Q2: What are they?----They’re pandas, monkeys, and an elephant.
Q3: What are they doing?----They’re......
2) Listen and answer (讲解现在进行时,单复数,及its)
Q1: What are the pandas(they) doing?----They’re eating lunch.
Q2: What are they eating?----They’re eating lunch.
Q3: What’s the little monkey doing?----It’s playing with its mother.
Q4: How about the elephant?----The elephant is drinking water.
3) Group work (Practice the key sentences)
What are the they doing?----They’re eating lunch.

4) Listen and repeat
Students listen to the whole dialogue and follow the tape.
5) Group work
Read the dialogue in groups of four.
6) Read together.
