    Teacher encurages students t list mre things and tell the legal age t d these things in China.
    Teacher leads the students t lk at the title and predict what the passage is abut.
    Students read the passage quickly and get the the main idea f the passage t check their answers.
    Students read the passage again and find ut what the title “The Age f Majrity” means.
    Teacher asks the students t chse anther suitable title fr the passage and give sme reasns. (Activity 3, Page 4)

    Read the paragraph abut Bethany and find ut:
    Why Bethany can’t wait t be 18?
    Read the paragraph abut Lin Ning and answer the fllwing questins:
    1) What did Lin Ning expect when he turned 18?
    2) What is the reality like t him?
    3) What change has he experienced after turning 18?
    Read the paragraph abut Mrgan and answer:
    1) Hw is the reality different frm Mrgan’s expectatins fr turning 18?
    2) What is his understanding n turning 18?
    Teacher asks students t read the passage and cmplete the table. (Activity 4, Page 4)
    Students share their answers f the questins in the lead.
    Teacher asks students t read 4 sentences frm the passage and decide if they are facts r pinins. (Activity 5, Page 4)
    Teacher asks students t find mre sentences expressing pinins and encurages them t wrk in grups t talk abut whether they agree with them, why r why nt.
