一、教学目标：
1. 知识目标：
（1）能掌握以下单词：
guitar, sing, swim, dance, chess, play chess, draw, speak, speak English, jin, club
能掌握以下句型：
① —Can yu play the guitar? —Yes, I can./ N, I can't.
② —What can yu d? —I can speak English.
③ —What club d yu want t jin? —I want t jin the chess club.
（2） 能了解以下语法：情态动词can的用法 want t d sth.的用法
2.能力目标：
通过本节课的学习，使学生能听懂描述某人在某一方面所具备的才能的句子和对话;能口头描述某人在某一方面所具备的才能及谈论自己的喜好与意愿;能通过所学的句型表达来采访同学们对课外活动看法和参与度。
3.情感目标：
本课时内容贴近学生的生活，通过学习培养学生参与各种英语活动的兴趣。知道每一个人都是有所能而同时又是有所不能的，实现心理的健康和平衡，对自己的能力充满自信同时对于他人的才能要持客观和欣赏的态度，从而可以实现自我的快乐成长。也可以和周围的人建立和谐融洽的关系。
二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点：
（1） 学习询问和谈论彼此的能力和特长；
（2）掌握一些弹奏乐器的表达方式。
2. 教学难点：
情态动词can的基本用法，即无人称和数的变化。
能正确运用所学词汇描述某人在某一方面的才能。
三、教学方法
1.多媒体教学法
通过展示形象的活动图片，使学生直观地学习并掌握词汇，并能让学生通过图片感知.领会知识和具体实践操作所学知识。
2.互动教学法
英语课堂离不开互动教学。所以在教学过程中采用师生互动和生生互动的方法完成教学任务来达到良好的教学效果，让所有的知识都融会在语言交流中，简化英语语法。这样不至于使学生对英语有畏惧感，相反会让学生渐渐喜欢英语并乐于学习这门课。
3.小组合作法
通过小组合作互助学习和调查法培养学生综合运用语言能力，敢于表达的能力和互助合作精神。
四、教学过程
StepⅠ: Lead in
Play and teach a sng“Can yu sing?” t make the class active.
同时展示一些演奏乐器的图片、声音以及动作示范引出话题： I can play the guitar.然后询问学生：Can yu play the guitar?…．并引导学生进行简单的回答。
【教学设计说明】本课时主要学习can的用法，因此采取视频、音乐、图片等导入法，调动学生参与学习的兴趣并使学生更加直观的了解本课内容，过渡简单自然。
Step2：New presentatin
出示一些反映各种活动的图片、幻灯片或播放课件，引导学生谈论活动：
Shw Ss the pictures and help Ss t understand the new wrds and key sentences. Help them t say what the persn is ding in the picture. Ask Ss t read the new wrds, and make sure that everyne can understand the meanings and read them crrectly. Then practice dialgues ne by ne.

Step3：Grupwrk
1.Shw kinds f pictures as quickly as pssible. Let Ss say the new wrds and take turns t make small cnversatins in grups.

Step4：Listening
1. listen t the tape, find ut the right cnversatin, and number them 1-3.
2. Wrk n 2a and 2b.
T: Nw, lk at the pictures n P2, listen t the fur cnversatins. Just listen.
(Play the recrding fr the first time, students nly listen carefully.)
Then, listen t the recrding again, and circle the clubs yu hear and cmplete the sentences in 2b. Check the answers with the class. 【教学设计说明】此环节着重是听力训练。让学生在听对话的过程中抓住关键词汇，由于前面已做了一些训练，因此学生听起来比较容易，让他们都有一次成功的喜悦和感受，这样可以增强他们的学习自信心。
