Many plastics have different chemicals added t them t make them mre useful and pwerful. The prblem is that these chemicals attach t the mnmers (单体),which remain in plastics even after the material gets prcessed at a recycling plant. The research team reprted that, with the newly discvered PDK material, the mnmers culd be recvered and separated frm any chemical additives.
Next, the researchers plan t develp PDK plastics “with a wide range f thermal and mechanical prperties”.These plastics culd be used fr many kinds f clth, as well as things such as 3D printed materials and fams.In additin, the team is trying t include plantbased materials in the prcess.
