一、教学目标：

      (1)学生能用所学知识对the Eiffel Tower, the Golden Gate Bridge, Big Ben 和the Great Wall这些名胜进行拓展性描述。

     （2）学生能熟练地运用重点句型Where did you go? When did you go there? How did you go there? Who did you go with? What did you do?对旅行进行拓展性描述和对话。

     （3）学生能运用所学知识进行英语写作，培养学生的综合语言运用能力。

二、教学重、难点：

   1.教学重点：学生能熟练地运用重点句型对景点和旅行进行拓展性描述和对话。

   2.教学难点：学生能运用所学知识进行英语写作

三、教学准备

课件，单词卡片。

四、教学步骤

 Step Ⅰ Preparation

     1. Greetings.

     2.Sing an English song with actions.

        This is the way.

Step Ⅱ Presentation and drill

      1.T: Wonderful! Boys and girls, you’re healthy and strong. So you can travel around the world. Let’s look at these beautiful places in the world again.

          <Write the title: Look at these beautiful places in the world.>

2.Play a game: I can shoot it!

  Ask the students to read the key words and sentences correctly and loudly.

If they can, they can shoot the balloon down.

3.Listen and number1-5

  (1) Big Ben is still working.

  (2) I want to take pictures.

  (3) The Great Wall is in China.

  (4) The Golden Gate Bridge is wonderful at night.

  (5) I saw the Eiffel Tower last year.

(设计意图：游戏中巩固单词，听力中复习课文内容，在常规听力练习中进一步提高学生听的能力。充足的输入，更有利于学生进行目标语言的输出。)

4.Brain Storming.

Talk about something about the four places of interest in groups in 30 seconds, and then ask some students to talk about it. At first, the teacher give an example.

(CAI show a picture of the Eiffel Tower.)

eg: It’s in France. It’s very tall. It’s a wonderful place. I want to go there.

(设计意图：从举例看图说句子入手，利用学生对已知的图片内容进行头脑风暴，体现了学生为主的教学原则，为下一步谈论自己的旅行做好铺垫。)

1.T: You are great! As you know, there are many beautiful places in the world. There are also many beautiful places in China. (CAI Show some beautiful places in China.)

2.T: I know, you travelled to many places during your holidays. I want to know one of your travel. Let’s share together.

 T: I went to Beijing. Where did you go?

 Ss: I went to ___________.

   (Ask several students to answer.)

3.T: I went there last month. When did you go?

 Ss: I went there ___________.

   (Ask several students to answer.)

4.T: I went there by train. How did you go there?

 Ss: I went there  ___________.

   (Ask several students to answer.)

5.T: I went there with my friends. Who did you go with?

 Ss: I went there with ___________.

   (Ask several students to answer.)

6.T: I went shopping and took pictures. What did you do?

 Ss: I ___________.

   (Ask several students to answer.)

（设计意图：引导学生们从Where, When, How, Who, What这五方面谈论自己的旅行，为下一步两人对话练习打下基础。）

Step Ⅳ Production

1.T: Just now, we shared something about travel. Now I want to know all about your travels or your holidays.

Make a dialogue with a student. Give the other students an example.

         A: Hi!

B: Hello! 

          A: Where did you go on your holiday?

B: I went to_________. 

          A: When did you go there?

B: I went there ________. 

         A: How did you go there?

B: I went there _______.

         A: Who did you go with?

B: I went there with _______.

A: What did you do?

B: I ____________. I had a good time.

… .

         A: Oh ! Great! I want to go there too! Bye-bye!

         B: Goodbye!

2.Work in pairs to make a dialogue.

3.Ask several pairs to show their dialogues.

Step Ⅴ Progress

1.T: Boys and girls, we have talked so much about our travels. Now , let’s write something about my travel. How to write? It’s easy. We can write these things. Where did you go? When did you go? How did you go? Who did you go with? And what did you do?

 2.Give them an example.

                            My travel

    Last month, I went to Beijing. I went there by train. I went there with my friends. I saw the Great Wall. It’s very long. It’s a wonderful place. It’s difficult to climb. I took many pictures. I had a good time on my holiday.

3.Ask the students to write something about “My travel”.

4.Ask several students to read their English writings.
