教材分析：

    我校使用教材是四川教育出版社出版的《新路径英语》，小学高年级强调听、说同时兼顾读和写，使学生掌握一定知识技能的同时激发学生的学习兴趣，帮助学生形成独立自主、行之有效的学习策略。发展学生的交流能力。促进学生综合语言运用能力和健康人格形成。

    本课以天气为主题，怎样描述天气和城市。

学情分析

    六年级的学生已经有了一定的知识基础和很好的兴趣基础。在教学中我用上课件、卡片、再加上适当的教学方法、技巧。将会把孩子们的学习兴趣提得更高。学习氛围更浓，从而使教学进展顺利，获得好的效果。

教学目标：

    1.学生通过天气相关单词和对城市标志性建筑的认识，了解怎样描述天气和一些著名的城市。

    2.能熟练运用对天气进行描述的句型：“What’s the weather like in ...?” 及其答语 “It’s ...”。

     3.教学文本对话，培养学生的听力及表达能力。能流畅的用英语进行天气预报。

教学重点、难点：

1.能用本课句型问答。

2.流畅的用英语进行天气预报

教学过程：

Step1:  preparation

1、Greetings：

T: Good morning,boys and girls.

P: Good morning, Miss Li.

T: Let’s say “Hello” to the teachers.

P: Good morning,Teachers!

T:How are you?

P: I’m fine,thank you,and you ?

P: I’m fine ,too.

T: Now, please look out of the window, How’s the weather?

2、Revision

1) 复习天气

T: Cool!now, kids, What is the city?

Ps:New York.

T:Yeah, How’s the weather in New York ?

P: It’s rainy.

T: How’s the weather in London?

P: It’s cloudy.

T: Listen carefully. What’s the weather like in Paris? Who’ll try?

P1: It’s sunny.

T: Nice! What’s the city? do you know?
