It was a cloudy day when I was on my way home after school.Waiting at the crossing,I saw an old woman standing on the other side of the road selling vegetables.However,no one stopped to buy vegetables from her because a rainstorm seemed to come.Just when I was about to cross the road to help her,a tall man passed by squatted down to help her.After knowing the price of each kind of vegetables,he started to sell them.Quickly,all the vegetables were sold out.

Before leaving.he even caught a taxi for the old lady. I couldn't see the expressions on that woman's face clearly,but I guess she was moved and delighted for such a generous help.An act of kindness seems not to be so expensive but means a lot sometimes.

Helping other people will benefit yourself as well as others.It was a cold winter evening when my little brother and I were walking on the street.I suddenly found a beggar who wore a thin shirt with bare feet.In front of him was an old bowl.I was about to drop a few coins when my brother stopped me."He might be a cheater,said my brother.As he saw the same beggar at the same place more than once.I was stunned,but I still dropped the coins into the bowl in front.The beggar looked at me with a grateful smile.I believe my action really helped him.Lies shouldn't cover up the goodness that this world should have.In the cold winter,I felt the warmth from the bottom of my heart.A small act of kindness can mean a lot to others.Let's pass it on.

评分时, 要从内容与结构、表达的逻辑性、层次性、连惯性和创造性、语法运用的恰当 程度、单词拼写等方面综合考虑。本题共20分, 分四档评分:

1. 短文通顺完整, 表达清楚, 语言基本无误, 17—20分；

2. 短文较通顺完整, 表达基本清楚, 语言有少量错误, 12-16分；

3. 能写明基本要点, 短文不够通顺完整, 语言有较多错误, 但尚能达意, 6—11分；

4. 仅能写明部分要点, 短文不完整, 语言错误多, 影响意思表达, 0—5分。
