学习目标：

1. 学生能听、会说、会读、会写单词: dream, future, dentist, astronaut, dancer,writer, pianist；
2. 学生能听、会说、会读、会写词组：in the future, care about, fly a spaceship, football player. World Cup, make… healthy and beautiful, write stories, come true；
3. 学生能在句中熟练运用动词的三单形式。He/ She wants to …
4. 理解故事，并能用第三人称单数复述故事。 同时对故事进行延伸，即如何实在梦想。（教学难点）
5. 学生会运用What do you want to be in the future? I want to be… / I want to … 询问他人的梦想,同时联系生活描述自己的梦想。（教学重点）

教学过程

Step 1.  Warm up 

Enjoy a song < Be what you wanna be>

T: What message do you get from the song?

S: Some jobs: doctor singer, lawyer…

T: Yes. The name of the song is <Be what you wanna be>. What do you want to be in the future?

S: I want to be …

T: Great dreams. Today we’ll learn Unit 8 Our dreams. 引出本课主题。

Step 2. Pre-reading 

Look and guess

1. Photo1:

T: Look at the photo. Guess! Who is the little girl?        

    S: She is …

T: It was me 30 years ago. --- Miss Shen. Guess! What did I want to be when I was 8 years old.

S: Maybe you wanted to be a teacher.

T: No, I wanted to be a singer. When I was 15 years old, I wanted to be a teacher. And my dream had come true.
