    【教学过程】
    Step 1 Talking abut pictures
    Shw pictures f different kinds f bad weather and disasters. Get the students t talk abut the results f them. They can als talk abut what ther peple d t help.
    (It will be better if the teacher can cllect sme reprts n disasters r bad weather frm newspapers r magazines. In this step, the teacher may try t input mre infrmatin abut the disasters and help students t talk abut it.)
    Step 2 Listen t the tape
    Explain that Annie and Simn are talking abut a natural disaster. Invite them t listen t the tape and try t answer the questins.
    Step 3 Reading the dialgue again
    Get the students t read the dialgue alud. Direct students attentin t the intnatin f different sentences. We use a rising tne fr general questins. We use falling tnes fr ‘wh-’ questins r statements.
    Get the students t read the dialgue again. Pay special attentin t the intnatin patterns used here. Then give the students several minutes fr the students t practice and act.
    Step 4 Reading mre statements
    Get the students t read mre statements. Remind them f the intnatin patterns.
    Play the tape fr the students t fllw.
    D chain wrk and get the students t read the sentences ne by ne. Pay special attentin t the intnatin patterns.
    Students als shuld be reminded f the imprtance f these sentences, especially, the fllwing sentences:
    Step 5 Reading the dialgue
    Get the students t read the dialgue.
    Get them t read the dialgue. Pay attentin t the intnatins patterns. Give the students 3-4 minute fr them t read the dialgue t their partners. Ask them t fcus n what sandy said abut the fire and try t get the main pints.
    Step 6 Hmewrk
    1.Finish ff the relative exercises.
    2.Recite the useful wrds and expressins.
