一、质疑探究
1、in frnt f 意为"在……前面"指的是某人或物外部的前面。其反义词是 behind"在……后面"。
在房子的前面有一个花园。_____________________________________________

in the frnt f 意为"在……前部",指在某个范围内的前面。试比较:
The teacher is in the frnt f the classrm.
老师在教室前面。(老师在教室里面)
There is a tree in frnt f the huse.
房子前面有一棵树。(树和房子是两个独立的个体, 树不在房子里)
befre也表示"在……之前",但通常用来表示时间或顺序上的前后。如:
Yu can drink a glass f water befre yu have breakfast.早餐前你可以先喝杯水。
in the middle f 表示在的中间 between表示在两者之间
near表在附近
with表示有如:I have a huse with a garden
many许多修饰可数名词复数 much许多修饰不可数名词

There be句型的特殊疑问句有以下三种形式。
There is a bird in the tree. →What’s in the tree?

对地点状语提问:用 “Where is \ are + 主语?”表示(注意其答语变化)。如: There is a cmputer in my ffice.
→ Where is the cmputer? ----It’s in my ffice.
There are fur children in the classrm.
→Where are the fur children?----They’ re in the classrm.
5、对数量提问:一般有两种提问方式。如果主语是可数名词,无论是单数还是 复数,都用“Hw many +可数名词复数 + are there + 介词短语?”表示:
There are twelve mnths in a year. →Hw many mnths are there in a year?
There is nly ne bk in my bag. → Hw many bks are there in yur bag?
There is a cat in the bx. → Hw many cats are there in the bx?
如果主语是不可数名词,则用“ Hw much + 不可数名词 + is there + 介词短语?”表示:
There is sme mney in my purse.→ Hw much mney is there in yur purse?
6、英语缩写形式
英语中,be动词的am, is, are常与主语进行缩写:
am缩写为’m, 如: I am = I’m
is一般缩写为’s, 如: he is = he’s , it is = it’s
are一般缩写为’re, 如: we are = we’re, yu are = yu’re, they are = they’re.
We are Chinese. = We’re Chinese.
be动词的is, are常与否定词nt进行缩写, am与nt 连用不缩写, 如:
is nt = isn’t, are nt = aren’t
常见的英语缩写形式有:
I’m=I am she’s = she is he’s = he is
it’s=it is we’re = we are yu’re = yu are
they’re = they are there’s = there is
there’re = there are that’s = that is
Sam’s a student. (Sam’s = Sam is 是)
isn’t = is nt aren’t = are nt
what is = what’s wh is = wh’s
where is = where’s
