展开A mdal verb is a ‘helping’ verb. When a mdal verb is used t help anther verb, the secnd verb must be in its base frm.

The negative f ‘must’ is ‘must nt’, r in shrt frm, ‘mustn’t’. ‘Must nt’ r ‘mustn’t’ is used t mean that smething shuld nt be dne.

When we speak f ONE persn wh wns smething, we use the SINGULAR frm f the pssessive prnun. Singular pssessive prnuns are ‘mine’, ‘yurs’, ‘his’ and ‘hers’.
