【教材简析】
本节课是外语教学与研究出版社新标准英语四年级下册Mdule 2 Unit 2 It’s very ld.是在前一单元Lndn is a big city.的基础上，更详细了解Lndn 。本课主要介绍英国伦敦的大本钟、海德公园、塔桥这几处英国著名的建筑。通过介绍，使学生更多的了解英国文化、旅游景点、风土人情等，给学生构造了美丽的英国画面，也能使我们联想到用形容词描述其他的事物，或者通过描述来猜测是什么事物。
【学情分析】
四年级的学生活泼好动，喜欢游戏，好奇心强。所以本节课用视频导入，将游戏和知识结合，充分激发学生的学习兴趣。因为有第一单元的学习做铺垫，本节课的句型对他们来说并不陌生。他们在学习过程中往往会表现为学习积极性很高，能积极的参与到教学活动中来。利用已有知识实现知识的迁移，让学生在轻松的语言氛围中学习语言。
【教学目标】
1、知识目标：
学习并能够识别单词ld 、famus 、Hyde Park
Twer Bridge 、Big Ben
能够运用词汇：ld、famus
能够运用句型：This is… It’s…
2、能力目标：
（1）能够运用This is +地名，It’s + adj.的语言结构来描述自己喜欢的城市。
（2）能够运用The + n. +is+ adj.的语言结构来形容某种事物。
3、情感目标：
通过学习了解英国的标志建筑和著名旅游景点等，开阔学生的文化视野，激发他们对英语的学习热情和兴趣.了解英国，培养跨文化意识，热爱祖国。

【百度搜索】通过欣赏“我们建造了这座城市”这段视频,让学生全面感知英国，了解伦敦的著名景点，而不仅仅局限于课本给出的几个景点.全英文的纪录片式的介绍更为本节课营造了浓厚的英文氛围，可以让学生很快进入本节课主题，为下面的学习打下基础，也有效的调动起了学生的学习兴趣。
