本节课的教学内容为新标准英语(三起点)\五年级下册Module10 Unit 1 Where are you going?一课的对话教学,本节课以Grandma给Daming打电话嘱咐他为明天去美国做好准备为教学内容。
Ⅳ.Analysis of the situation(学情分析).
这节课的内容与学生的日常生活紧密相关,学生比较感兴趣,在前面的学习中已经学习了“be going to ”表示的一般将来时,因此本节课的教学内容对他们来讲不是很难。五年级学生的模仿力、记忆力强、爱玩、爱游戏、爱活动、爱表演,视觉和听觉的感受性已发展到一定水平,感知事物的目的性比童年阶段明确,已从具体形象思维向抽象逻辑思维过渡,但仍然是同直接与感性经验相联系,仍然具有很大成分的具体形象性,仍习惯于模仿实际动作,而且往往对自己的能力估计过高。

(1) 巩固掌握:when ,end ,nervous ,all right, airport, ticket, passport, safe词汇
(2) 学习运用Where are you going? I’m going to the airport. What are you going to take? When are you going to the airport? Who’s going to the airport with you? 句型。
2. Competence objectives. (能力目标)
能运用句型: Where are you going? What are you going to take? When are you going to the airport? Who’s going to the airport with you? 提问并做出正确回答。

(1)培养学生善于观察生活、体会生活中的语言,对生活中常用句子的理解和应用。
(2)使学生积极运用所学英语进行表达和交流,并培养合作学习的精神。

Step 1 Warm –up and Revision
- Greetings.
- Sing a song.
Step 2 Presentation
T: Tomorrow is Saturday. Where is Sam going this weekend? Let’s listen to the text.
(设计意图:在学习课文前,创设具体情境,然后设疑:Where is Sam going this weekend?让学生带着好奇心进一步学习课文)
带领学生学习“when,end”并请学生思考Ms Smart最后说“I don’t know!”的原因。并引导学生得出结论:在日常生活中,我们应该尊重他人、礼貌待人。
Step 3 Task presenting
What’s your weekend plan ? After learning the text, let’s share it. Now let’s look at Daming’s trip plan first.
Step 4Text learning
- Firstly, listen to the tape and find the new words. And then learn “nervous ,all right, airport, ticket, passport, safe”.
- Secondly, listen again and answer these questions:
Where is Daming going?
What is Daming going to take?
When is Daming going to the airport?
Who is going to the airport with Daming?
- Thirdly, listen and repeat. Then underline “be going to ”.
- Practice the dialogue in pairs. And then act out it.
(设计意图:在对话中学习生词,做到词不离句,句不离段,让学生通过问题来理解课文,在熟读课文的基础上两人一组练习并表演课文,提高学生的语言表达能力)
Step 4 Practice
(1.) I will show you some pictures. Please tell me how to say them in English. (通过大屏幕出示一些地点图片,学生可迅速做出反应,说出相应词组,通过复习这些词组,为下一步的游戏打下基础。然后出示学生用书第四部分问题,让学生自主建立联系。)
(2.)Let’s play a game. Every group chooses a picture. Then answer questions according to picture. Each person answers a question and fills in the form. Finally , group shows.(请每组派一名学生上讲台抽取图片,将事先准备好的表格发给他们,请他们小组合作完成表格。最后小组展示,并对其及时评价。有能力的同学还可自述周末计划,为其小组加分。通过练习,使学生能够将所学的知识运用到实际的生活中去,使每一名学生都能够真正的做到学有所用,学有所得,真正体现英语学习的实践和应用性原则。)
