一、教学目标:
知识目标:1.多方面了端午节的传统习俗。2.掌握端午节习俗的表述。3.重点了解并掌握裹粽子的方法。
能力目标:1.能流利介绍端午节的相关习俗。2.体验并掌握端午节的代表性活动裹粽子。
情感目标:1.在动手体验中掌握技能,激发学生的学习兴趣。2.增加对传统文化的认识,激发学生热爱传统文化,促使学生承担起弘扬、传承传统文化的责任。
二、教学重、难点
重点:1多方面了解传统文化节日。2.体验代表性美食粽子的制作。
难点:了解粽子的制作方法并在体验中掌握。
三、教学过程:
Step1: Lead in
Before class: enjoy a video
T: What’s the video about? Yes, it’s about our Chinese festivals. Today,let's go on learning U7 Chinese Festivals.

T: What Chinese festivals do you know?

T: We learn four Chinese festivals. They are Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival and Double Ninth Festival. Can you talk about them?

T: Do you know the other Chinese Festivals?

T:根据学生的反馈相机介绍其他四个节日:Lantern Festival、Qingming Festival、Double Ninth Festival、Laba Festival.
- Guessing game
T: Do you really know these Chinese festivals well? Ok. Let’s play a guessing game. You can guess what festival it is according to my pictures.
【意图】以自由谈话和游戏的方式预热,使学生进行积极思考的同时,复习前几课时的学习内容,为下面重点学习端午节做好铺垫。
T: Today is April the 25th. Dragon Boat Festival is coming. So today, let’s talk about Dragon Boat Festival first.
Step2: while learning
- The picture book
T: We knew something about this festival from U7. Actually, there are many interesting customs about it. Do you want to know?
Ss:Yes!
T: Look! I have a picture book here. It’s about about Dragon Boat Festival. You can find more interesting things about this festival in the picture book. Do you want to read it now?
Ss: Yes.
(1) Let’s read
T: Please take out your book. First, read from page 1-4. Then, find out things about Dragon Boat Festival.
(2) Let’s judge
T: Do you find them now? Let’s check in a game. You will see some pictures, if it is about Dragon Boat Festival, please say”Yes, yes, yes”. If it is not, please say”No,no no.”进行判断游戏。
(3) Let’s match
T: These things are all about Dragon Boat Festival. Do you know what are they? Can you name them?
Task1: match the pictures and names on page9
T: Open your picture book again, turn to page9. You can write down the right numbers under the pictures. Understand?
(4) Let’s read
T: Well down. You can name them. But can you read?
T: I gave you some learning tips before class. They can help you to learn the new words by yourself. Did you read that?

【意图】在课前给学生提供辅助学习单,学生可以通过已经掌握的音标或旧词自学新词的读音和意思,在此过程中检查学生对旧知的掌握情况,同时鼓励学生进行知识的迁移,培养他们自主学习的能力。课堂上,老师视学生对新词的掌握情况,对有难度的、学生掌握不好的,加强教学;对简单的、学生掌握还不错的,加以巩固。及时纠音。
(5) Conclude
T: Now, we know, people not only eat rice dumplings and watch dragon boat races. Also, they will hang wormwood on the front door(动作演示帮助理解hang), drink realgar wine, wear coloured thread and perfume sachet, and eat salted eggs.(带着学生说说,边板贴图片)

T: These interesting customs are different from place to place. In Wuxi, what do you usually do at Dragon Boat Festival?

T: Yes. We usually eat rice dumplings at this festival. Do you like eating rice dumplings?
(2) Know more
T: I like eating rice dumplings too. I have some pictures for you. Rice dumplings is the most popular food at this festival. They have different shapes, such as triangle, rectangle, cone and so on. They also have different flavors, rice, red beans, salted eggs and meet.
T: How are they?
S1: Nice.
S2: Delicious.
