图文并茂的阅读材料从首都罗马,特色建筑比萨斜塔,美食披萨,水城威尼斯以及孩子耳熟能详的故事匹诺曹这几个方面展开介绍。文中有许多较长的单词如Clsseum, Pincchi,对这些新单词的定位为了解和口头表达,不需要达到听说读写的要求,所以对单词的处理可以弱化一些。
