On Octber 16, 2021, the China Natinal Space Administratin (CNSA) successfully launched the Shenzhu 13 spacecraft using a Lng March 2F rcket, carrying three Peple's Liberatin Army Astrnaut Crps (PLAAC) taiknauts (中国航天员) t the Tianhe cre cabin mdule (CCM) (核心舱).
Shenzhu 13 is the secnd crewed missin t the Tianhe CCM, the first mdule f the China's Tiangng Space Statin, which is currently under cnstructin. The CNSA annunced the names f the three crew members, cmmander Zhai Zhigang, and peratrs Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu, in a press cnference the day befre lift-ff. Wang becmes the first female astrnaut t visit the space statin. This missin is scheduled t last six mnths, cmpared t the previus crewed missin duratin f 90 days, which makes this the lngest Chinese human spaceflight.
The Shenzhu spacecraft is largely cmparable t the Syuz (联盟号飞船) in its design and technlgy but the Shenzhu is substantially bigger at 9.25m×2.8 m. The spacecraft's first flight was n Nvember 19,1999, and its first crewed launch was the Shenzhu 5, which was launched n Octber 15, 2003, making China the 3rd cuntry t demnstrate human spaceflight capabilities.
