- Analysis of the Teaching Materials
情态动词(Modal verbs)本身有一定的词义,表示语气的单词。但是不能独立作谓语,只能和动词原型一起构成谓语。情态动词用在行为动词前,表示说话人对这一动作或状态的看法或主观设想。情态动词虽然数量不多,但用途广泛。先结合七年级和八年级的情态动词教材,用can/could做例子,教学其用法;再结合九年级的教材,引出might/must/can’t等情态动词,最后一起总结情态动词的用法。

学生对情态动词有一定的了解,但不够全面和深刻,有些学生甚至已经忘记某些情态动词及其相应的用法。
