一、导入新课 Step 1 Revision: 1.Look at pictures to review different rooms in your homes. 2.Have a free talk: Where would you like to live , a flat or a house? Why? How many rooms are there in your home? What are they? Which room do you like best? Why?

二、学习新课 Step 2 Presentation 1.Teacher says :My dream home isn’t a flat because it is too small. I wouldn’t like to live in a palace because it is very big. My dream home isn’t in a big city. It is in a town near the sea. When I am free, I can walk on the beach and enjoy the sunshine. It is a wooden house. Do you like my dream home? 2.Ask Ss to talk about their dream homes in pairs. Step 3 Reading 1. In China, most of us live in tall buildings. What about people in other countries? Do you know about the homes in different countries? Today ,we will read three passages about homes. 2. Listen to the tape and answer some questions. Where are they from? Are there homes the same? 3. Ask Ss to read each passage and then answer more questions to know details. Anna: Where does he live? Where is her house? Who lives with her in her house? Neil: Where is Neil from? What does his mother do in his favourite room? 4.Ask Ss to do B2, B3 on P9-10.Then check the answers. 5.Ask Ss to read the text after me. | |
