一、教学内容:
5B. Unit 3 Story time:Listen, read and say.
二、教学目标:
1.整体感知理解语篇,理清对话信息,能简单地组织语言表达。
2.掌握四会单词way, get, along, street, take, stop;
3.初步理解、掌握句型Can you tell me the way to…? How can I get to…? 并能在口头交际中初步运用问路和指路句型。
4.学会用整体略读、部分细读的方法快速获取语篇信息,并能借助图片或关键词对语篇进行结构把握。
5.通过语篇的学习,培养学生助人为乐的良好品质。
三、教学重、难点:
重点:能在语篇中初步理解问路和指路用语,并能在语言输出中初步运用。
难点:读图时对on your right/ left的正确理解与表达。
四、课前准备:
1.准备录音
2.学生课前准备,扫清课文的生词障碍。
3.多媒体课件
五、Teaching procedures:
Step1 Lead in
1. Free talk. 师生谈话复习前两个单元的交际用语。
T: Excuse me, who’s taller, you or…? Who runs faster than you in your class?
Are you good at PE? Do you want to be stronger?
T: I want to be stronger. But I don’t know how. Can you give some suggestions?
2. Lead in. 引到本课话题 way上
T: Thank you. I’d better walk to school every day. That’s right.
(Show the picture.) This is my home and this is Jiling Primary School. How can I go?
(Ask the students to point to the way.)
Step2 Presentation
1. 教师整体呈现从家到学校的不同路线图,边示意边讲解讲解给学生听。
T: This is the first way I get to school. First I go along this street, then I turn left, the school is on my right.
And this is the second way I get to school. First I go along this street, then I turn right, the school is on my left.
2. Learn “way, crossing, go along ” etc.
Drill the sentences.
3. T-Ss: How can I get to school? 师生对话,简单练习主要句型。
4. 揭题并过渡:We live in Nanjing, so we all know Nanjing very well. But if you visit a new place, you don’t know the way. You should ask the way.

Step 3 Read and say
1.学习对话背景部分。
(1)出示图片T: Now, here comes a girl, she is asking the way. Who’s she? Why is she asking the way? Whom is he asking for help?
(2)出示问题Listen to the tape, then answer.
(3)Check answers. 注重学生对Why的理解,鼓励学生用不同的语言来回答。
(4)Read together.
(5)板书:完成黑板上的提示图,Try to retell together.
2. 整体感知理解对话。
(1)出示问题Where does Yang Ling want to go?
(2)Watch and answer.
(3) Where is Su Hai’s home ?
要求学生快速读对话,根据对话内容在图片中找出地点。(教师提示)
Check answers.
T: You can find the right places. But which sentences help you? Can you read them?
3. 分段学习对话。
(1)学习指路用语
The first “History Museum”. 请学生找出对话原文,PPT打出,教师板书
The second “Post office”
(2)学习问路用语
T: Yang Ling is asking the way. How does Yang Ling ask the way?
学生默读,圈出问句。
PPT Drill the sentences.
4. 整体巩固对话。
(1) Read the dialogue in pairs.
(2)根据黑板上的脑图跟老师一起复述课文。(理清课文的思路,熟悉相关用语)
(3)教师先与全班学生或个体整体示范,学生俩俩练习,检查。
可以丰富对话用语,可以用更灵活的语言来交流。
(4) Retell the dialogue.
(5) Consolidation ( Finish the exercise. )
Step 4 Homework
1.T: Yang Ling speaks English very well and she is helpful. She can help foreigners.
So learn English well, it will help you one day.
2. Assign homework: Read the dialogue and try to act/ retell the dialogue.
