Step 1 情景导入
Teacher:Boys and girls!Please think about “What you usually do in school/in class/after school/after class/at home/on weekends”.
Students:I usually have lessons in school.
I usually play games after school.
I usually listen to music at home.
I usually play soccer on weekends.
Teacher:Yes,you are right.But I think these activities must be done at the proper time and proper places.You can never change them.For example, can you listen to music in the classrooms at school?The answer is “No”.There are some rules in every school.We also have rules in our school.Now please open your books at Page 19.Let's see what we can do and what we can't do in school.
环节说明:通过谈论学生(在周末、学校、家里、放学后、下课后等)经常做的一些活动,复习学过的知识,激发学生说英语的热情,从而导入本单元的话题。同时教育学生遵守学校、家庭、公共场所的规则,做一个文明的中学生。
Step 2 完成教材1a~1c的任务
1.认真观察1a图片,完成1a的任务。(1分钟)
Teacher:What are the students doing in the picture?Is it good to do that?What do you want to say to them?Oh,there are five rules on the left.Let's see what they are. We have got to know about these rules, and please think about how to match the rules with the pictures.Then let's check the answers.
2.认真听录音,完成1b的任务。(1分钟)
Teacher:For this part,please listen carefully,and pay attention to what rules these students are breaking.I'll play the recording the first time.You can listen and write the numbers after the names.
3.分角色朗读听力材料中的小对话。结对练习听力材料中的三个小对话,最熟练的一组要到讲台上展示。(2分钟)
4.根据1a中的校规,仿照1c中的小对话,编写并表演对话,完成1c的任务。(3分钟)
Teacher:Imagine student A is a new student.Student B tells student A about the rules above.When we talk about the rules, we can use “can” “can't” to make up sentences.
5.小结训练。(2分钟)

Step 3 完成教材2a~2d的任务
1.让学生阅读2a中的活动,认真听录音,完成2a的任务。(2分钟)
Teacher:Alan and Cindy are talking about the school rules.Let's read the rules in 2a aloud and check the activities Alan and Cindy talk about.
2.再听一遍录音,完成2b的任务。(2分钟)
Teacher:I'll play the recording the second time.Listen carefully and pay attention to these activities Alan and Cindy can do or can't do.Circle “can” or “can't” in 2a.
3.根据听力材料的内容,编写并表演对话,并要求多个小组上台展示,完成2c的任务。(3分钟)
Teacher:Now let's work in pairs.Student A is Alan,and Student B is Cindy.Ask and answer about the school rules.Then I'll check some pairs before the class.
4.分角色朗读2d中的对话内容,解释重点短语和句子并让多个小组上台展示。然后让学生大声朗读对话内容。(5分钟)
5.小结训练。(2分钟)

Teaching Reflection 【教学反思】
本单元的功能话题是谈论规则,所以在上第一节课时,有必要让学生通过大脑风暴大量接触谈论规则的用语。这节课是本单元的第一节课,通过大量的听和说的练习让学生能做到以下几点:
①正确使用否定祈使句陈述规章要求,并对别人的劝告、警告做出礼貌回应。
—Don't run in the hallways./Don't fight.
—Sorry,Ms. Clark.
②正确使用情态动词can,can't。
—Can we bring music players to school?
—Yes,we can./No,we can't.
③能正确使用have to和must谈论规章制度。
We must be on time./We also have to be quiet in the library.
④掌握重点单词、短语:rule,arrive,hall,dining,listen,fight,sorry,outside,wear, important,bring,uniform,quiet,dining hall,arrive late for school,(be) on time,listen to music,go out,follow/break the rules,in class,be/keep quiet,a lot of,bring…to…,wear a hat,have to,music player。在教学过程中,采用小组合作的方式,通过一个个听说任务的完成来结束这节课的教学,效果会很好。
