Step 1 情景导入
Teacher：Everyone likes weekends.How is your weekend？Maybe someone thinks it's great/terrible/good/OK/not bad.What did you do last weekend？How was your last weekend？Now you can talk about your last weekend with your friends.
环节说明：通过谈论学生上周末的活动,导入本单元话题,让学生运用一般过去时来简单地叙述过去发生的事情。这样,学生可在真实的语言环境中体会语言,运用语言,感受语言的真实价值,品味语言的实际意义,从而获得运用语言的实际能力,运用所学知识进行创造性地发挥应用和积极主动地用英语进行交流。
Step 2 完成教材1a～1c的任务
1.认真观察1a的图片,完成1a的任务。(1分钟)
Teacher：Please look at the picture on Page 67.What are they doing？They are talking about their last weekend.There are six actions to express what they did on their weekend.Let's see how they express the actions in the past.

2.认真听录音,完成1b的任务。(2分钟)
Teacher：Here is a conversation.Let's listen to the tape and write the day and “morning”,“afternoon” or “night” below each picture.
3.大声朗读并背诵1b中的小对话,结对练习1b中的小对话,请最熟练的一组到讲台上展示。(3分钟)
4.结对谈论Lucy的周末活动,完成1c的任务。(3分钟)
Teacher：Since you just heard the tape,let's do a RolePlay practice.Student A is Lucy.Student B asks Lucy about her weekend like this：
B：What did you do last weekend,Lucy?
A：Well,on Saturday morning,I played badminton.
5.小结训练。(2分钟)
补全对话,每空一词。

B：Yes.I had a (2)really busy weekend.
A：Did you play (3)computer games?

Step 3 完成教材2a～2d的任务
1.认真听录音,完成2a的任务。(3分钟)
Teacher：The teacher and students are talking about their weekends.Listen to the tape and underline the words you hear.
2.再听一遍录音,完成2b的句子。(2分钟)
Teacher：I will play the recording the second time.Listen to the tape once more and write “C” for Carol,“B” for Becky,“J” for Jack next to the statements in 2a.
3.根据听力材料内容,用特殊疑问句形式结对谈论他们的周末活动,并要求多个小组上台展示。(4分钟)
Teacher：Now work in pairs to practice the conversations with your deskmates.Student A asks questions with who,what or where and student B answers.Then change your roles.
Teacher：Now check some pairs of you.Who would like to act your conversation before the class?
4.分角色朗读2d中的对话内容,解释重点短语和句子并让多个小组上台展示。然后让学生大声朗读对话内容。(3分钟)
5.小结训练。(4分钟)
根据对话内容,在横线处填入适当的句子补全对话。
A：Hi,Ann！How__was__your__weekend?
B：It was great.
A：Oh,really？What__did__you__do__over__the__weekend?
B：I had a good rest and visited some beautiful cities.
