专题05 感谢信

感谢信也分为两个部分，一种是感谢别人对你的帮助，一般这个“别人”是陌生人，这里需要用记叙文的方式对事情的经过进行表述；另一种是感谢亲人、老师或朋友，对你人生的影响等。

Sample Model 01

假设你叫李华，是在英国AAA中学学习的一名交流生。几天前你在某商场购物时丢了手提包，内有重要证件。昨天该商场工作人员来到学校，将手提包交还给你。你决定给该商场经理Mr. Johnson发一封邮件表示感谢。要点包含：

1.写邮件的原因；

2.简述事情的经过；

3.表达谢意。

注意：

1.词数100左右；

2.可以适当增加细节，以使行文连贯的；

3.开头语已为你写好。

思维过程

第一段：自我介绍＋说明感谢的原因

[1]我是在英国AAA中学学习的一名交流生。

I’m an exchange student from AAA high school.

[2]我写此信是为了表达我真诚的感谢对于我在你们商场丢失手提包并重新找回的这件事。

(我写此信是为了表达对于我在你们商场丢失手提包并重新找回的这件事的真诚的感谢。)

I’m writing to extend(v.伸长，伸展；给予) my sincere gratitude for the recovery(n.康复，恢复；找回，重新获得) of my lost bag in your shopping center.*

第二段：重述事情的经过+记叙逻辑(时间线索)+起承转合(失而复得前后的心态变化)

[3]在你们购物中心的一次愉快的购物经历之后，我发现我的手提包丢了。(描述自己遇到的困难)

After a pleasant shopping experience in your shopping center the other day(日前，前几天), I discovered my handbag missing.

[4]我完全不知所措，不知道我把包放在了哪里。

I was totally at a loss(不知所措；困惑；神思恍惚), not knowing where I could have left it.

[5]我把我的笔记本电脑和重要证件都放在了里面，包括我的身份证，护照和几张信用卡。此外，这还是在我十八岁生日时，父亲送给我的一件珍贵的礼物。

I had put my laptop and important certificates in it, including my ID card, passport as well as my credit cards. Besides, it is a precious gift that my father gave to me on my 18th birthday.

I felt extremely upset and anxious.

Without your generous help, I would have got into serious trouble.

思维过程

第一段：写信目的＋说明感谢的原因(都是熟人，不需要自我介绍)

[1]毕业将近，我写信向您表达我真诚的感谢。

With the graduation approaching, I’m writing to extend my sincere gratitude to you.

[2]就是你彻底改变了我对学习和生活的态度。(用强调句表达意义与影响)

It is you who has changed my attitude towards study and life completely.

第二段：学习上对我的帮助＋人生上对我的指导

[3]最重要的是你帮助我发现了自己的英语天赋。在你来教我们之前，我的英语一直很差，从来没有觉得有吸引力。

What mattered most was that you helped me discover my talent for English. Before you came to teach us, I had been terribly poor at English and had never found it appealing.

Sentence II. What + v. me +be+ n.

What + v. me +be+ that SVO.

[2014全国I]令我担心的是这个学校的学费。

What concerns me is the fee(学费) of the school.

[2013全国]令我感到沮丧的是我不仅英语不好，而且缺乏自信。

What upsets(使..沮丧，也可以用disappoint) me is that my English level is not very good and I am lacking in self-confidence.

But you magically showed me the beauty of English. Growing interest in it comes with(伴随..而发生) rising grades and confidence.
