本题考查with复合结构,“with+名词/代词+介词短语/形容词/副词/名词/动词-ing/动词-ed/不定式”构成复合结构,常在句中做伴随、方式、原因、条件等状语;句中with the cuntdwn t the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics entering the ultimate 50 days是“with+名词+动词的-ing形式”结构作时间状语。 故填With。
COVID-19 safety measures have been cnfirmed与the final wrk is being made t the Games villages是并列分句,用并列连词and连接。故填and。
在when, while, if, as if, thugh(或althugh), as, until, nce, whether, unless, where等连词连接的状语从句中,常省略跟主句相同的主语和be动词。结合句意及分析句子可知,while (5) (take) different religins int cnsideratin符合状语从句省略条件,省略the menu was后,保留动词的-ing形式taking。故填taking。
故填where。
故填is expected。
故填an。
